How it works

From URL to review-ready PDF

Three simple steps for you; a careful pipeline behind them.

The three steps

  1. Step 1: Point it at your site

Enter a start URL, choose device views and, if needed, add staging credentials and a recipe for the interactions reviewers must see.

  2. Step 2: We capture every page

Isolated browsers crawl the site, settle animations, expand the ISI, run your recipe and build full-length PDF pages with live links and real text.

  3. Step 3: Review, annotate, deliver

Download the PDF with its crawl and motion reports, or send it to the Sciagen Content Management System for MLR review.

What happens during a capture

The details your quality, IT and review teams will ask about.

  1. Start and scope

You provide a start URL and choose device views. Customer jobs can crawl the whole site, add staging credentials and attach a recipe.

  2. Safe, isolated browsing

Each job runs in an isolated browser worker. Every request passes through an egress guard that blocks private networks, so a capture can only reach the public site — or the staging host you authorised.

  3. Sign in if needed

For staging sites we answer HTTP Basic or NTLM challenges; for HCP member areas a recipe's login steps fill the form using secrets you entered for this job only.

  4. Settle the page

Lazy-loaded content is brought into view, and CSS and JavaScript animations are advanced to their end state so text is fully visible. Carousels, videos and animations are listed in the motion content report.

  5. Expand what matters

Sticky ISI trays are detected and expanded. Your recipe then clicks, hovers, opens accordions and advances carousels, capturing each extra state as its own labelled page.

  6. Build the PDF

Each page becomes one full-length PDF page with real vector text. Internal links are rewired to jump inside the PDF, external links stay live, and bookmarks are added per page and device.

  7. Report and verify

A cover page records the job ID and capture time in UTC and IST. The crawl report lists pages, broken links, external domains, redirects and timings, and every output gets a SHA-256 checksum.

  8. Deliver and clean up

Download the PDF, or deliver it to the Sciagen Content Management System. Credentials are deleted when the job ends, and outputs are removed automatically after the retention period.
